While in general I agree with most of the things he said, I do take issue with the relatively 'technically advanced' comment. Olivetti produced a z8000-based micro which was 'technically superior' in my opinion. (Of course, I worked at Olivetti (in Cupertino, CA) so what do you expect? :-) The IBM PC was a hit in the marketplace because IBM made it a hit.
