If I correctly remember what my local Kontron sales representative said, the Kontron PC Interface will run any compilers (like PLM/80) which run under ISIS. The overall environment under this circumstance is CP/M. Also, I believe the Intel PLM compilers can be made to run on the Kontron KDS Development System Series, which supports both CP/M and UNIX.
