I tried to communicate with verious Bell 212 modems in vain . I found carrier level caused the troubles. Some modems send carrier at 0db, other sites -13db. I hope to adjust input/output level of my modem. (I use it with my private line. So, I don't have to obey the FCC's regulations.)
