In case anyone else had the following question: It is possible to upgrade an Epson FX-80 to an -85, giving it a 32cps near-letter-quality mode (not so important) and the ability to switch between the Epson upper extended character set and the IBM graphics character set. The upgrade is $100 plus labor, at any authorized Epson dealer. [Those of us who 2+ yrs ago paid $200 more than it now sells new receive no back-credit -- thus is the way of upgrades.] Anybody know if a similar deal exists for the Dynax DX-15 (alias Brother HR-15) to the 15XL -- 13cps --> 17cps? -- Craig Werner !philabs!aecom!werner "The end. 94. 95.
