Lines: 4 According to the Motorola 68881 handbook you can mix-and-match any speed 881 with any speed cpu chip. The clocks are independant, as all communication is done using an asynchronous protocol. I don't know if this is really true, as I am not really a hardware wizard, but it sounds reasonable to me.
