Lines: 17 From: Bruce Brolsma Preferences allowed me to easily get my Dynax DX-15 (i.e., Brother HR-15) serial daisywheel printer working with my Amiga. I discovered this evening, to my pleasure, that the same driver works well with my ancient but trusty Heathkit H-14 dot-matrix printer; the only accomodation I made was to turn down the baud rate to 4800, that being the top speed of the H-14. So now I have two printers running off the same driver, and with an A-B switch in a black box, I'll be home free to choose either one. However, if you've got two different drivers you want to use (for example, an Epson parallel dot-matrix and a Brother serial LQP), what do you do then? Obviously, getting into Preferences each time and changing things is a nuisance. Is there a way from the CLI to specify output properly for this situation? -bruce brolsma
