This morning I called the '800-OKI-DATA' number to ask about
the swapping of the ROMs in my Okimate (to get rid of the 
white lines).

The person on the other end was very cordial; but had no
information on the new ROMs.  She took my number and
will probably get back to me in the near future.

I would like to encourage other Okimate owners and 
friends which are owners (and friends of friend...) to 
call customer support; the more inquiries recieved, the 
sooner a policy to handle the SWAP will materialize.
