Lines: 34 From: Bruce Brolsma Bruce, Just a note to let you know that the fact that users out there are using Textcraft already doesn't mean it was copied for free from the dealer. I've had my preliminary copy two days; I paid full price for it from my dealer, with the agreement that once the final release is available, I'll get it. This allows those of us who are STARVED for software to at least get up and running something other than AbasiC programs. Yeah, there may be bugs in it, but it beats not having anything to run at all. Once I can get the MS-DOS emulator in place, then I'll be able to use the wealth of text editing software there (such as MINCE or other EMACS editors). In the meantime, and for my spouse, who just wants plain vanilla text processing, Textcraft can fill the bill. Although I'll be forwarding my comments to Arktronics, I'll include them here for info-amiga readers too: My version (Textcraft 1.94, 9/12/85) has the curious trait of not being able to load the tutorials unless the Textcraft disk is BOOTED from DF0: (!!?). Additionally, I don't see a way to select a file from DF1: to work on (there is no equivalent to the "DRIVE" selection on most Macintosh software when selecting a file). -bruce brolsma Bolt Beranek & Newman Inc. cambridge, massachusetts ARPAnet: brolsma@bbn-spca
