It has been stated (bear in mind, Commodore has not commented on this), that they were, uh, "prevented" from attending by one or more of their creditors due to having (allegedly) defaulted on some of their debt(s). Seems 'tis the bean-counters of the world, and their ilk, that ultimately decide the fate of a new product in the Marketplace ... welcome to "The Real World"! It is also reported that they *were* there privately. (I just *love* how the Underground works!) And it's been said that they won't be exhibiting at CES either for the same reason ... at least not "officially". CYA time: The above statements may or may not be true. In either case, they are my opinions, and not those of my employer, roommate, or mouse. /kim *** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR MESSAGE *** -- UUCP: {decvax,ucbvax,ihnp4}!decwrl!mips!kim DDD: 415-960-1200 USPS: MIPS Computer Systems Inc, 1330 Charleston Rd, Mt View, CA 94043
