	sybex has 2 amiga books in the works: something like "the official
    amiga manual", and "the amiga developers manual".  i got the impression
    the former may come from commodore; they said they wouldn't even be able
    to guess the publication date until february.  the latter is definitely
    3rd party, and they say it'll come out in feb.

	bantam has already published the 3 small amigados manuals
    (user man, tech ref man, developer's manual) as a $50 set.  far as
    i can tell, these are exact copies of the docs commodore sent to
    developers and dealers.  tucked inside is a note that these are
    preliminary editions pending a new edition in mid-january.
