I've had Micro-Sci disk drives for three years right now and have had no problems whatsoever with them. At the time I purchased them, they were half the cost of an Apple drive and at least $50 cheaper than Rana's. My high school has had Micro-Sci drives for years without having any problems; their Apple drives need speed adjustments every couple months or so. I never had much luck using the Rana drives, as they're really not very compatible, particularly with copy-protected software. I would suggest to the author of the above that he choose his words more carefully next time. Robert J. Hammen Manta Software U of Wisc. CS @gumby.wisc.edu
