Aiuto > Holmdel, NJ > > houxl!jja1 Antic Magazine puts out a terminal emulator program called "Chameleon" which contains in the documentation a termcap to use with Chameleon. This allows your Atari 8 bit machine (XL and XE) to act as a terminal for interfacing with UNIX systems. This is what I use at home to get in and out of the Tek computer systems as well as the net. I am not positive whether it will work with the original 800 computer or not. It works fine with the 800XL, 1200XL and 130XE -- does not work with 600XL as it requires the use of a disk drive. [Unless you have fixed your 600XL up to somehow work with a disk drive (with 16k memory) or have added memory to it.] =============================================================================== We need net.micro.st for ST's, leave net.micro.atari for 800/XL/XE's!!! ===============================================================================
