A very good friend and hacking partner of mine was at a computer and electronics
swap meet in the San Francisco bay area, and he saw a dealer selling 1450's.
They were not functional, and were being sold for parts.  The claim was that
they could be made functional with "some" work.

I may be able to find out more specifics on who/where/how much.  If there
is enough interest, I will contact my friend (he's not on the net, and now I
live in N.Y.).
