Jim Omura posted a visual description of the Motorola S-record format. You might note that it didn't support addresses longer than 16 bits, relocation information, etc. Motorola has extended this format with different record types for longer addresses and such. If you use S-records on a 68000, please find out and use the extended format. But, please don't post any binaries, in S-records or any other way. (This is my personal opinion, you are free to ignore it. I think until the net resolves that it either wants binaries or doesn't, it would be an inflammatory thing to do, though.)
