Message-ID: <7884@ucla-cs.ARPA> Date: Wed, 4-Dec-85 18:45:45 EST Article-I.D.: ucla-cs.7884 Posted: Wed Dec 4 18:45:45 1985 Date-Received: Sat, 7-Dec-85 16:14:52 EST Organization: UCLA Computer Science Department Lines: 22 *** replace this line with your AMIGA or IBM/pc *** After careful consideration I have decided to get an ST instead of an IBM/pc, any of its clones, or the Amiga (which I consider good for games, but bad for any other hacker-type of work). Anyway, I don't want to compare machines, but get and ST. Furthermore, I'd like it to have 2 DOUBLE density disks, a decent printer, and ONE MEG (at least) of memory. I've been trying to find a dealer carrying the ST in the West LA area without success, and I wonder why they are hidding them (it's almost Christmas!). Am I asking for too much?! I don't want to "place an order", as I'm leaving the country quite soon. I'd appreciate any suggestions. I'll post the useful answers I receive. Adolfo ///
