In net.micro.cbm someone posted an article that they were using a 2400 baud
modem with the C64. I can't remember
who said it, anyone?
The topic was something to do with having troubles with using 1200 baud and
the C64 dropping chars for some people...someone mentioned they test it with
a 2400 baud modem and it worked fine.
  
Perhaps this will jog someone's memory.
