We have a group here that is interested in expert-systems and how to
supply more knowledge easily.
One way to do so is to use an optic reader.

But how does various scanners for the Mac perform? And which does come
with useable software, that will recognize written text and convert
it into text-files rather than picture-files? (reasonably "nice" fonts)

Please e-mail me any experience, opinion or rumours you know of.
