I figured there might be some general interest on the net about this topic, so here we go: Larry (I lost the message, so I don't know his last name) asked how I was using HFS with a Corvus. I got HFS working by putting the Corvus driver (which is very simple) into a System 2.1 file and booting from the modified disk. I put System 2.1 and Finder 5.0 on the hard disk. Larry also asked how he could use HFS with a Profile. As far as I know, HFS does not work with the Lisa, since it is a ROM patch. I assume that if they make a Lisa version available, it will be in the form of a revision to MacWorks. It took me a while to realize that the "Hard Disk 20" just will not install on a Lisa! It is unfortunate, but for the moment there is NO way of using HFS on a Profile or even on a floppy while using the Lisa. If any of this is wrong, maybe Larry Rosenstein knows the gospel? :-) -- Darin Adler {gatech,harvard,ihnp4,seismo}!ut-sally!ut-dillo!darin
