Message-ID: <283@aluxz.UUCP> Date: Mon, 18-Nov-85 13:42:21 EST Article-I.D.: aluxz.283 Posted: Mon Nov 18 13:42:21 1985 Date-Received: Tue, 19-Nov-85 04:26:52 EST Organization: AT&T Bell Laboratories, Allentown, PA Lines: 17 I'm trying to use set comspec to get command.com to reload off a ramdisk under PC-DOS2.1. However, even if set shows COMSPEC=C:\COMMAND.COM and command.com is on the ramdisk, I seem to always get the message to put the command.com disk in drive A. Is this a known bug and is there a patch? Or is there a way to make all of command.com memory resident? Or am I all wet? I imagine either I'm doing something dumb or this was recognized and fixed long ago. So you may want to respond by email to avoiding boring everyone else. Thanks much, Robert Evatt AT&T Bell Labs, Allentown, PA {ihnp4!aluxz!revatt}
