	PC/IX (currently at Release 1.1) is a version of IS/3 that runs
	on the IBM PC with Fixed Disk Expansion, the IBM PC XT, the IBM
	PC XT/370, and the IBM PC AT.  (IS/3 is INTERACTIVE Systems
	Corporation's version of UNIX System III; to within hardware
	restrictions, it is a proper superset of UNIX System III.)

	PC/IX was developed by INTERACTIVE for IBM, who has been selling
	PC/IX since April of 1984.  PC/IX is described in "Personal
	Computer Interactive Executive: General Information Manual," IBM
	form GH20-6247, available from IBM.  PC/IX is sold by both
	the IBM direct sales force and the IBM Product Centers.

	PC/IX has received a number of very favorable reviews in the
	press for its reliability, performance, and completeness.
