I have been loosely following the discussion on the decline of the English
language and have decided that I have found the worst offender- our college
radio station (WMCX 88.1 FM).

On today's 1:30 broadcast, they reported the story of an alleged
(pronounced so it rhymed with "besieged") murderer who heard the decision
of an appelate (pronounced "apple-it") court.
