The film "Ordinary People" starts out with a boy's choir singing
a hymn to the tune of Pachelbel's Canon in D Major. Does anyone
know the name of that hymn?

(The tune is also used on the GE Soft-white commercial with the
woman and her daughter posing for an artist. For you musicians,
the chords are (four beats each) D  A  Bm  F#m  G  D  G  A)

I have cross-posted this to net.religion.christian in case some
of our Anglican or Roman Catholic colleagues may have heard of it.
