I'm looking for a Public Access Un*x machine in the Metropolitan New
York area, especially one on Long Island.

Criteria would be free or a couple bucks an hour, access to UUCP mail,
and access to USENET.   This is for a friend on that coast to be able to
send and receive mail (to me and others) as well as so he can read the
news.

As an alternative, a machine that does the above, and is available on
one or more of the nationwide packet switching nets would be a good
choice.
