Consider this a NO vote for changing net.jokes to mod.jokes. However, I think that it might be quite a good idea to create mod.jokes and leave net.jokes. In addition to receiving jokes that people mail in, the moderator should be someone who is a reader of net.jokes, if possible, so that s/he can copy over good jokes from net.jokes into mod.jokes.
