I definitely don't approve of sending HEXDUMP, uuencode, crypt, BINHEX, or any other non-human-readable format. But I have nothing against the MAC. I do wish people would exercise restraint *in all postings*. Since this isn't really appropriate for discussion on net.news.group, I've directed all follups to /dev/null.
