When I want to make a newsgroup locally, I usually post a newgroup message to newgroup control, with distribution set to local. Is this proper (i.e. does it ensure that the group only gets created on my site)? I'd hate to think I've been flooding the net with spurious new groups while all the while thinking I was doing it right. -- Roy Smith System Administrator, Public Health Research Institute 455 First Avenue, New York, NY 10016
