Unfortunately, I couldn't reply to his note from my home host, where mail has been variable in utility lately, so now that I'm over here, I'll just post the inquiry anyway. Is "boontling" unique, or are there other regional languages like it? (I would think the difficulty here comes in the definition. "Boontling" is something other than a dialect or jargon, but I hesitate to define is rigorously as a "language", though we have been using that term for convenience.)
