The language has for too long been a political issue and it would be nice if it was something that united rather than divided my fellow countrymen and women. I didn't have the opportunity to learn Gaelic at school as I am not a Catholic and was, in retrospect, very annoyed about it. I have since started to learn and subscribe to this group in the (vague) hope of seeing some Gaelic (or other Celtic) language topics discussed in it. Go raibh mile maith agaibh.
