Lachman Associates  Inc.,  is  a  systems  consulting  firm  with
specialization in Unix/C oriented system projects and ports.  Due
to rapid expansion, we are in need for people with  SOLID  Unix/C
experience,  and  more  specifically,  in KERNEL, DEVICE-DRIVERS,
COMMUNICATIONS, and SYSTEMS PROGRAMMING. There have been and  are
coming  very  interesting  systems projects, and ports.  Although
most of our consultants work at client sites, hardware  in  house
includes  2  Sequent-Balance  multi-processor systems running 4.2
(the one is not ours, but we use it), a VAX 11/750 with Unix  4.2
or  system  V,  2  Sun-2,  a  few  Cadlinc workstations, 5 laser-
printers, and some minor  micros.   Our  consultans  are  regular
employees  with  full  fringe  benefits,  including medical plan,
profit-sharing pensioning plan, educational costs reimbursements,
...   Working  with  LAI  gives the opportunity to work with some
major leaders of technology, mainly in Unix.  Degree,  preferably
in CS/EE, required- M.S.  desired.
