Message-ID: <789@t12tst.UUCP> Date: Wed, 13-Nov-85 18:06:47 EST Article-I.D.: t12tst.789 Posted: Wed Nov 13 18:06:47 1985 Date-Received: Mon, 18-Nov-85 06:07:11 EST Distribution: net Organization: Intel Microprocessor Mfg, Santa Clara Lines: 9 My husband and I have recently become avid train fans, having taken a few train rides in the California area, i.e. Willits-Eureka and back. Now we are wondering what else is available. Does anyone know of any other good train trips in the California area? We are planning a trip to the Grand Canyon in early May. I have not gotten around to call Amtrak yet, but am wondering if they go from somewhere in the San Jose or San Francisco area (actually we live in Sunnyvale) directly to the Grand Canyon. Any idea on price? Are there connecting buses if the train lets off somewhere nearby? Thanks for info.
