View, CA Lines: 14 Snow report for 11/24 Badger pass, Yosemite, Natl. Park, CA 6 inch base, alpine resort not yet open, but runs are packed down. Snow is heavy and wet due to rain. There is a 1/2 in rain crust beneath 1 inch fresh snow. X-C wax is Yellow stick (yech). Weather: total overcast with intermittant flurries and rain. Winds 10-15 from S-W. I would not ski off a road or pack area just yet. Many people (three dozen cars maybe) already X-Cing. Weather in the SJ Valley is heavy rain showers.
