At least four times a week I check out this conference to see if
there is any activity and it seems deader than a doornail.  How come?
The concept of usenet and its ability to get information widely
distributed in incredible.  Especially, when every genealogy researcher
needs to establish connections with other researchers in the same family
line.  ROOTS-BBS of which Iam the sysop now has 9,952 surname queries on
file just waiting for you.  If you dont have a modem at home nor some
other way you can call ( 415-584-0697) feel fee to leave your surname
queries here and I will be glad to check the ROOTS files for you.
