I am also interested in how to get information from Poland.  I have actually
written the Polish consulate and received a curt response saying they weren't
interested in helping me.  I wrote the US consulate in Poland and the people
there actually got me a birth certificate for my grandmother BUT it was not
feasible to ask them for anything more(they didn't have the time,
understandably).

My grandmother's family still lives in Poland but they don't seem to willing
to help either(she still owns a small piece of property that they want -- so
no help until she gives it to them).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
