It is broken up into a lot of little sub-groups called things like net.kids. If Andy were to read them he would find them just as crashingly dull. These services all have their place and their following. The problem is that somehow Andy (and others) were sold on the idea that it should be exciting. Surely a bunch of smart people should be more exciting than "Dear Abby". Thankfully few of have the sort of problem writtn to "Dear Abby". Andy if you are interested in music, try one of the net.musics. If you want personal, but not sensative statements, try net.flames. If you want excitement, nobody gets it from their RS-232c line, you have to just go out and live it (but who am I to tell YOU that?). Alternatively you could try to start net.excitement. But I don't think even you and your colorful prose style could consistantly write exciting things to the net that were neither fiction, nor complaints, nor "Penthouse Forum" style soft erotica. Still, you could prove me wrong. If this is what you want, we all learn better by example than admonishment. Good Luck.
