   This is true for many people.  My infamous Danish former boss was
outraged when I told him I generally correct peoples pronunciation of my
name only twice-- if they continue to get it wrong it's their problem.  
Of course, his name was spelled "Klavs", but pronounced "Klaus", so maybe
his concern was justifiable.
