    It's no lie.  They hafta be that to put up with most men I can think
of, as well as each other and maybe themselves.
    What,  I  should  be more serious?  Well, let's say people do things
for reasons not apparent to outsiders or even  themselves.   So  if  one
can't  understand  someone else's hidden agenda (in this case a woman's,
given that you're male) one can discount it without  calling  one's  own
into  question  by calling her emotional and illogical.  It works out to
lack of self-respect (examining on'es own motivations), masked  as  lack
of respect for others.
    I do not make the claim that such hidden agendas aren't emotional or
illogical.  They're merely dominated by OTHER hidden  agendas,  deep  in
the  reptile-derived  sections  of the brain, of course.  After all, how
can something as basic as a snake or lizard be emotional or illogical?
    See, it all works out.  Emotions and illogic  don't  exist,  but  if
they do they originate in unimaginative reptilian logic.
