Unfortunately it captures only characters output to the terminal, and fails to capture the input keystrokes when the terminal is in noecho (e.g. when executing `vi'). One must modify script (quite a simple fix, I just don't have room here in the margin :-) but I have done it myself) if you want to capture both sides of an interactive session.
