Why not wait until January to see which players > are having good seasons and which players are injured. As I stated in my original mail, I'll keep totals until the actual starting teams are announced. If you want to wait until January, go ahead. I would agree with your implication that injured players / holdouts should not be considered. But if people want to vote for Bernard King, who hasn't played a minute this season (and may not play a minute the whole season), then I'll count it up. There are close races for the second forward spot from both conferences and the second guard in the west. I am listing players here along with the number of votes they have received. Note that some people have not seen fit to vote for a whole team so the total number of votes at each position may differ. For people still voting, please be sure to include the team a player is on. Once in a while I get a vote for a player I'm not familiar with. Can anyone identify John Paxson for me? Here's the result from the first round of balloting. My USENET distributor was down for about a week and half. If you feel your vote didn't get counted, let me know. For those who didn't vote yet, there's plenty of time.
