Although I sympathize with many of the negative comments being made
about AMAZING STORIES in this group, I must say that I've enjoyed
every episode, some more than others. I believe that this is based upon
the fact that my expectations have been realistic. In support of my
point of view, I offer the following. This is the definition of
"amazing" as given in The American Heritage Dictionary:

(actually a combination of the definitions of amazing and amazement; amazement 
being referenced by the entry for amazing.)

amazing adj.  Causing a state of extreme surprise or wonder; astonishment.
