For one thing, in the begining when they play the theme song, they show a patrol car driving past an Old Style sign. As far as I know, they do not have Old Style (it's a beer) out East. So, it can't be any Eastern cities. The scenary does not remind me of any city out West. Even the patrol cars look just like the ones in Chicago except it says Metro Police instead of Chicago Police -- police cars don't all look alike.
