Can someone in the know explain to me just how lines with a double
colon are supposed to work?  I know there may be more than one
dependency with an accosiated action, but I know I am missing
something.  Surely the restriction of only one dependency with an
action in the single-colon case is more than a debugging aid?

Flame retardant: I have read the manual _and_ the tutorial.  I cannot
make sense of what it says on the double colons.  I asked around, and
most people had never heard of the double colon syntax.  Please reply
by mail, and I will forward if anyone else wants to know.
