Lines: 11 Recently I have experienced a strange problem on my VCR (VHS). On some of my tapes, the recorder is behaving as if the end of tape were in the middle of the tape at a specific spot. This occurred in places which were originally in the middle of recordings, and there seems to be no way to record or playback over these areas. Obviously, either I have a problem with my tapes or a problem with my machine. Has anyone ever experienced similar problems? Does anyone know how the machine ordinarily recognizes the end of tape? Any clues to what the cause of my problem is? Thanks in advance, Ed Friedman
