Some (long) time ago there was discussion on the net of a C version
of the Software Tools toolkit: expecially sh and tools which fuctioned
like the un*x tools.  Is that available?  I have the software tools tape
from about '80 or so, but that is ratfor, and the programs have been
much improved since then.
