OCCAM is designed to support concurrent applications in conjunction with the transputer chip (transputer and OCCAM are trade marks of the INMOS Limited, Bristol UK). But I know there was a prerelease or demo version (called Proto OCCAM), which runs under the UCSD (also a trade mark) operating system. I am looking for a similar demo version written in a higher programming language (like C, Pascal or (hmm) Fortran 77), which runs on a mono- processor system under UNIX (another trade mark). I plan to use it in a lesson about concurrent programming. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
