Dear R.B. Selection Committee:

	Thank you for your interest.  However, I regret to inform you
that the "bits" in the bit-bucket which I was detailed to dump were not
in fact raw.  They had been not merely processed but pretty well cooked
down into mush by the time they got into the bucket.

	The only thing "raw" about those bits was the language I used
when I was detailed to empty the bit bucket.
