    Please let's not let this newsgroup degenerate to the level of
net.sf-lovers. Just because the phone bills will be less will not
make it any more tiresome to read (or rather not read). The author
of the article to which i am replying asked for a species of roll-call
by having everyone reading the group respond with the title - this
is fine as a mechanism for counting heads but sets a bad precedent.
It's irritating to read dozens of replies giving some book's title
as a response to someone's request for information. Please mail and
let the requester summarize to the net.
