I've moved most of the index files for old news to /exp/tocs.  Sometime
soon I'll do something about putting them on tape as well.  They are
getting too bulky to keep around in /usr:  they total over 30 MB!
I've also stopped the permanent on-line archiving of the "pe" newsgroups,
since it now looks very unlikely that we will buy a Perkin-Elmer machine.
