The price was only $2195. Is this based on Canon's LBP-CX print engine? The ad claimed PC compatibility (through Diablo ECS Emulation and a compatible parallel interface built into LBP-8 A1). The ad also claimed a multiple font capability: 15 fonts per page (4 built-in fonts, download fonts, plug-in font cartridge). Does anyone know anything else? Does the printer run PostScript (TM Adobe Systems)? This limitation of 15 fonts/page sounds suspicous to me. Sam Quiring verdix!sbq
