Actually, I DO where my seatbelt 95% of the time, despite the fact that it makes it a pain in the ass to reach my glove box that contains my toll money for the Parkway--or makes it nearly impossible to get anything out of my pocket. So. Let it be my choice. If I want to be ignorant 5% of the time, that's my problem. And if having to wear seatbelts lowers our insurance rates, how come New Jersey still has unreasonably high insurance rates? When I see the premiums come down a bit, maybe I'll be a bit (but not much) more convinced about the validity of having to be told what to do. Maybe I wont quite mind as much that we're being treated like we have no minds. --Micci
