If you get gas into the exhaust and suddenly start the engine, you can EXPLODE a catalytic converter. This may be a good idea to some people, but not recommended for the general populace, especially if you have to pass an emmissions inspection. CA proposed putting cats on motorcycles about 2-3 years ago and they would have required the kill switches be removed.
